Storing your stuff is like a game of tetris (with a few additional challenges.)
Remember Elevate, Crate, and Deflate.
Elevate
Get it off the floor! Use pallets or even an additional box, but get your stuff off the ground regardless of climate or nonclimate.
Crate
Ok, its a nice space, but box it up! Tape it up! Seal it with packing tape. Air and moisture is your enemy. Spray a little lysol or fabric cleaner in every box when you pack it. That way when you open it - it will be a nice experience not to mention it will keep out the tiny critters.
Deflate
Blankets and other things that contain air are your enemy! Stomp it, Squish it, pack it in a strong plastic container - not a bag.
